GalCiv II expands

A random survey of game titles reveals that we've had an awful lot of "dark" games over the years: crusades, reigns, prophecies, ages of Camelot, arenas, angels, messiahs and conspiracies, to name just a few. A perfect opportunity, then, for Stardock to throw out convention and name their shiny new expansion for Galactic Civlizations II in a more bright and fluffy manner. Tangerine Avatar, anyone? Eggshell Avatar? Lemon Chiffon Avatar?
Nope, Dark Avatar it is, and it's out now. You can download it from their website for about AU$38, or wait for it to hit the shops around February 24th. It promises all sorts of turn-based intergalactic head-kicking, an improved ship design system and generally loads more of the stuff that got you into (or made you ignore) GalCiv II in the first place.
