New Prey screenshots

PC News | Demo to be released next week.
2K Games have unleashed several new screenshots from the upcoming release of 3D Realms and Human Head’s upcoming first-person shooter Prey, which should be a thrilling exercise in alien annihilation when it hits shelves later next month.

The game follows the story of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck in a rut, going nowhere. His previously dull life soon gets turned upside-down as he and his people are abducted, and sent to an alien mothership orbiting the Earth, where he eventually finds himself saving more than just his life, but the life of his planet. The game will include all sorts of alien gizmos, allowing gamers to manipulate gravity, time and your physical position.

Gamers will finally get to sink their teeth in the anticipated title later next week with 3D Realms confirming a demo for both Xbox 360 and PC versions. The demo, to be released on Wednesday, June 21 at 21:00 PDT, will feature five levels containing both single player and multiplayer modes of the game. The demo will be available on various websites across the net, as well as on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 owners.

I can't wait to lie back in bed and play this game.....it needs to be on my TV with the surround sound cranking. I hate playing immersive/atmospheric games on pc (that's just me though).

I've been waiting for the next proper Turok styled game and Prey is it!!
