Desperate Housewives coming to the PC

PC News | Everybody has a little dirty laundry.
Buena Vista Games has announced that Liquid Entertainment are currently developing a PC game based on the US drama/soap opera/light comedy Desperate Housewives. In the game, players will take control of a new housewife who moves into Wisteria Lane and chases the scandals of the seemingly perfect neighbourhood.

Brenda Strong (who plays the deceased Mary Alice Young) from the television show will reprise her role for the game, but there is no word yet on whether anybody else will lend their voice to the game. Still, we've managed to obtain the first images of the game in action - check out the Media Panel to take a look.

actually, funny you should say that. when i first heard the rumour of the DH game, they also mentioned a "The Biggest Loser" game. i've yet to see this one confirmed though.

^Are you serious?! It's one thing that they do this crap with tv (i don't watch tv so I couldn't care less), but it's another with video games!

I know I don't have to buy the stuff but it's still kinda disapointing to see gaming get swallowed whole by commercialism.

i'm serious about having heard it mentioned, but like i said, i've not seen it since, so i have no way to confirm it. perhaps it was a joke at the stupidity of a DH game.

Guys! Give it a chance, it could end up being a quality TV-to-game translation like CSI or Law & Order.

Oh wait, those sucked. At least they were plausible game setups, unlike this, which seriously actually does not make sense.
