Civilization IV Warlords announced

PC News | Looks like we'll be losing even more sleep.
Take 2 Interactive has announced that an expansion pack is currently in development for their top class strategy title Civilization IV. We're huge fans of the game here at PALGN, and apparently so are the rest of you - since the game's October release, over a million copies of the game have been shifted.

The expansion pack (which is to be subtitled Warlords) will feature a new person type called the warlord. There will also be six new game scenarios, six new civilizations and ten new civilization leaders. There'll be a few more additions, but they haven't been confirmed yet. Anyway, we've included the first grabs of Civilization IV: Warlords in the Media Panel. We'll have more information on the game shortly.

Just when i summoned up the courage to eat through my own leg to escape the shackles of civ 4, now they try to reel me back in with an expansion.

Actually, the additions mentioned here are really a bit weak imo.Civ 4 is pretty darn complete as i see it, and a few more leaders, (of which i only ever play as one all the time anyway, goooo catherine) among other things, isn't altogether tempting.

I'm still interested.

It took a while to get over the addictive Civ4 and I'd imagine that the expansion will lock me in for another few months.
