The currently unnamed expansion will feature an additional single-player campaign, new multiplayer content, and the welcomed inclusion of two new playable races to set foot into the battle – one of which will be the Tau. However, the second race is still currently unknown, but with the options beginning to slim down from the list of available races not featured, it could be Tyranids, Necron, Dark Eldar, Daemonhunters or Witch Hunters.
Much like the previous expansion, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault, Relic have taken in a great deal of feedback from players to hopefully create “a powerful, action-orientated single- and multiplayer experience that is enriched by the quality and depth of the Warhammer 40,000 universe” says Ron Moravek, General Manager of Relic Entertainment.
