Nice. I really enjoyed the last one. I wonder if they'll mix up the adventure game formula like Fahrenheit has done. I'd definately like to see that happen.

'THQ haven't announced any more information regarding the game'

Haven't they?

Oh, yes they have.. You just couldn't be arsed putting any in.

THQ and Revolution Software today announced that the fourth installment of the award-winning Broken Sword games is currently scheduled for release on Windows PC in summer 2006. A unique and successful brand that has achieved international critical acclaim, the Broken Sword series of games has shipped in excess of 2.5 million units to-date and continues to drive innovation and creativity in the adventure genre.

"We're excited to be able to be working with Revolution Software to bring the latest gripping installment of the Broken Sword franchise to consumers," said Peter Dille, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, THQ. "The acquisition of the fourth installment of the Broken Sword franchise is indicative of THQ's underlying philosophy of bringing great games with worldwide appeal to consumers. Revolution Software's latest installment of Broken Sword will help us to grow our global business and realise the potential of the international market, particularly in the European and Asia Pacific territories."

"The demand from fans for another game in the Broken Sword series has been overwhelming, " said Charles Cecil, Managing Director, Revolution Software. "Broken Sword had originally been designed as a trilogy with Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon intended as the finale. We were delighted to relent and are very pleased to be working with THQ again to enthrall fans and carry on innovating in the adventure genre."

The greatest bastion of true adventure gaming, the fourth installment of Broken Sword sees unwitting hero George Stobbart fall in love with a mysterious and beautiful woman; a woman whose sudden disappearance draws him into a desperate search for a nefarious artifact of great and terrible power. Unfortunately for George, it looks like the world needs saving one more time.
