Portal released for free

PC News | For a limited time, again.
Remember a little while ago when Valve decided to give away Portal to everyone with an open Steam account? Well, if you're one of the three people left in the world who missed out on that ludicrously good deal, here's a second chance to get a freebie.

As part of a games and learning project by Valve, including a website that for unexplainable reasons won't load properly for everyone (a snapshot of the real site can be seen below), the company is giving away Portal once again to everyone with a valid Steam account. Available for both PC and Mac owners, you'd be mad to miss out on this critically acclaimed gem (you were mad the first time).

Boot up Steam and head over to the Portal store page to get yourself a free copy, before the deal ends on 20 September 2011. While you wait for your download to finish, check out this video of American school students visiting Valve HQ to go hands-on with Portal 2, as part of the games and learning initiative.

Do not miss out! One of the greatest games of all time, and it's FREE. Can't argue with value like that.

I had played a demo of it a long time ago on 360, but never played the full game. I got this for free too this time around. Been enjoying it on PC. Plugged my 360 controller in and didn't even have to configure it to work.

It really is a gem of a game. Pretty challenging, it makes you use your brain a bit more then most other games, but after solving each challenge I feel a little bit more smarter lol.
