The PALGN team has much love for the shooting and looting affair that is Borderlands, citing it as a title which "succeeds in creating a ‘role playing shooter’, in that it very successfully combines two genres, the FPS and the RPG. The shooting is fun and furious while the looting and levelling make the game very compelling in place of a lacklustre story".
