Three Fallout: New Vegas DLC packs detailed and dated

PC News | Packing more punch than your six shooter.
Ensuring that the massive Fallout franchise continues to get strong post-release support, VG247 has the scoop on three downloadable content packs soon to hit for Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas.

First up is the previously announced Honest Hearts. Set at the Zion National Park in Utah, players will find themselves caught in a between warring tribes, and set on a path to resolve the conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysteriously titled 'Burned Man'. Honest Hearts is set to release on 17 May for PC and Xbox 360, and the following day on PlayStation 3 assuming the PlayStation Network is up and running.

Second on the list is Old World Blues, an adventure which puts the player at the mercy of a bungled science experience, and will be available some time in June.

Lastly there's Lonesome Road, a pack that will bring the New Vegas story full circle as players are confronted by a man named Ulysses, better known as Courier Six. Promising to explain why he refused to deliver the Platinum Chip, he sends the player on a journey to the Divide canyons, a land devastated by storms and earthquakes.

Lonesome Road will release in July, and both it and Old World Blues will be available on all three platforms.

Wow I'd completely forgotten about Vegas and that they were doing DLC. Is this the second lot after the Xbox-exclusive one?

Yeah. Second one is due out this month, third and fourth in June and July. The Xbox 360 exclusive one is now on PS3/PC too.

Cheers, I'll have to have a look at it again. Or maybe just wait for the inevitable bundle/compilation disc.

I'll have to get Vegas first... but I'll wait for the price to drop a little more.
