Back to the Future details, platforms, behind the scenes revealed

PC Media | A far better alternative to see into the future than a Sports Almanac.
Telltale have released three behind the scenes videos for their upcoming Back to the Future episodic game.

These trailers reveal, among other things, that the DeLorean will be making a return appearance (no sign of a time travelling steam train yet), and that while Michael J. Fox will be lending his likeness to the game, he will not be able to provide his voice, so a sound-alike is being used.

Telltale have also revealed that the game will be released on PC and Mac in December, followed shortly by PS3 and iPad versions of the game as well. You can pre-order the game at the official website, which will also net you a free copy of Puzzle Agent and access to a forum to talk with the developers before release. For every pre-order, Telltale will also donate US $1 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

You can check out the behind the scenes videos below.

^Dude, watch the second video, the AJ guy sounds eerily the same as Michael J. Fox, it's creepy how spot on he is.

Seriously, that's damn impressive.
Apparently he's never done professional work either, used to just use the MJ Fox-alike as a party trick.

Yeah, it's pretty damn cool. Whenever I read or hear "sound-alike" I'm quite cynical, because they never sound exactly the same. But I'm happy to take back any negative thoughts I had after hearing him, he's awesome.

It's almost destiny that AJ found out about the project and offered his services. He sounds spot on perfect!

Even better? what? pre-order is better!!! icon_razz.gif US$24.95 for a full season (plus free Puzzle Agent game, but $24.95 is an awesome price considering I paid more for the Season 3 Sam and Max)

Sure....

Pre-order season > free episode > gameplay footage

Unless you're sensitive to cost of course, then the pre-order is probably out.

Yer.. I don't mind supporting them.. but with so many games in my backlog and GT5 already pre-ordered plus 007 Bloodstone next week.. I think I want to give the episode 1 a play through before I make any purchase.

Man... I totally can't wait/have nightmares about the Jurassic Park episodic games they're making after these ones. I loved the movies (well, the first one) so much but it has so much fail potential.

That's awesome. Love the confirmation email too.
