Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition on the way

If you're one of the few who have yet to pick up Rockstar's immensely popular drive-and-shoot sandbox saga Grand Theft Auto IV, or either of game's two well recieved expansion packs, then we have some news that might finally tip you over the edge. Amazon has listed an upcoming package titled Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition.

As can be seen from the box art below, The Complete Edition appears to include both the vanilla release of Grand Theft Auto IV, and the somewhat recently released story package Episodes From Liberty City, which included the two expansion packs The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Listed for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, The Complete Edition is priced at a low US$40, which is roughly the same in Australian currency, and is scheduled for a release sometime later this month.

We'll no doubt hear word of a formal announcement sometime very soon.

I'd been wanting to grab the game on the PS3 for the longest time but kept putting it off. This is perfect. Great price too.

Hopefully next GTA news will be some info on GTA V or whatever the next iteration on the HD Consoles is called, GTA IV is getting a bit long in the tooth now, still good to see a definitive edition will be released soon.

I have no idea why the hell I kept putting my purchase of the game back, but this has finally secured it. Can't wait to fiiinally get the game, along with the rest of 2008.

I saw somewhere to pre-order it for $64 i just cant remember where, so a very good price.

EDIT: found it, GAME online RRP $69.95 and they are selling for the $64
