World of Warcraft: Cataclysm dated

PC News | Take some time off the computer to check under the tree.
World of Warcraft fanatics can finally rest easy, no longer fearing that upcoming expansion pack Cataclysm will slip into 2011, with VG247 confirming that Activision have give the thumbs up for a release date of December 7 2010.

Arriving just in time for the Christmas rush, Cataclysm features a wealth of World of Warcraft goodies sure to impress, including six new high level zones, two new races, seven new high level dungeons, an 'Archaeology' profession, the level cap raised to 85, DirectX 11 rendering features, and much more.

Cataclysm will be made available to players both at retail and online as a digital download through the Blizzard Store.
