The Weekend Steam - 10/7/10

PC News | Weekend gaming just got serious.
In celebration of Steam's free weekend for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, players will be able to purchase the title at 50% off its regular retail price this weekend. Other titles on sale this week include the casual title Turba, another dose of DLC for the train driving simulator RailWorks, Football Manager 2010 and the recently released Puzzle Agent - the latest title from Telltale Games which you can check out our opinion of in our freshly baked review.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, is the high definition remake of the popular follow-up to the original Serious Sam title. This encounter picks up where Serious Sam: The First Encounter left off, with our protagonist Sam travelling to Sirius on a starship. Unfortunately, Sam's space vehicle is involved in a crash which sends it plummeting down towards the Earth's surface with Sam eventually crash landing in Central America during the Mayan age. Time to get out the rail gun...
