The Weekend Steam - 19/6/10

In lieu of a Weekend Deal, Steam have been having a week long sale on all things EA. For today only, gamers will be able to pick up Dead Space, Mirror's Edge and Spore at discounted prices. With 33% to 75% off these titles, gamers can get themselves some serious bargains. Don't forget to check Steam over the next couple of days as the sales will change daily!

For those keen on all things survival horror, Dead Space proved to be a great title which invigorated a genre that hasn't seen much love as of late. While it doesn't have the freshest premise on the block, Dead Space provided gamers with a solid gameplay mechanic and a chilling atmosphere which garnered some genuinely startling moments. mirror's edge is like the bargain basement drawcard... this is the nthteeth time its' gone below $5.

Spore discounted is $70.... Wow. EA can kiss my arse.

Until they discount that at least to %75, its nowhere near worth it. Especially considering I already own the DVD ver.

Spore is ~$30. Spore plus it's two expansion packs is ~$69.

Slight difference.

Yup, thankfully I grabbed it over Christmas when it was at that price. Wish I could have grabbed Red Alert but I'm sure it will come around again.
