Episodic Back to the Future coming from Telltale

PC News | Great scott!
Yesterday we reported that Telltale Games has begun work on a series of episodic titles based on the Jurassic Park franchise. It would appear that's not all. They're also working an episodic series based on the 80s classic: Back to the Future.

The announcement went on to reveal that Telltale are quite excited to bring back these classic franchises, especially in a way that best fits them, as opposed to the franchises being adapted into other popular genres such as shooters.

Sadly no other information is available, but we certainly hope to hear more soon, because we're really keen for some self-fitting future jackets.

I tell you what, Telltale are right on the money in picking out their franchises.

Jurassic Park is an AWESOME setting, though I'm not sure how well they are going to deal with the necessary action sequences.

And Back to the Future. Of bloody course; it would make an OUTSTANDING adventure game.

Seriously, for all people might hate on their 'lite' implementation, Telltale are single handedly reviving the genre for a new generation.

Back to the Future trilogy is probably my top movies of all time. I'm a bit fanatical, so I'll be watching this very closely.

There's actually a wiki article on how gigawatts is to be pronounced.

Giga-(Pronunciation) - Wikipedia
Quote
In English, the initial g of giga can be pronounced /ɡ/ (a hard g as in giggle), or /dʒ/ (a soft g as in its Greek root's meaning, giant).[3]

This latter pronunciation was formalized within the United States in the 1960s and 1980s with the issue by the US National Bureau of Standards of pronunciation guides for the metric prefixes.[4] A prominent example is found in the pronunciation of gigawatts in the 1985 movie Back to the Future.
Do agree I should have said one point twenty-one icon_biggrin.gif

I suggest you forward the article to Doc Brown. I'm well aware of how to pronounce it icon_wink.gif

Wikipedia">The power required is pronounced in the film as "one point twenty-one jiggawatts" (1,210,000,000 watts). While the closed-captioning in home video versions spells the word as it appears in the script, jigowatt,[1] the actual spelling matches the standard prefix and the term for power of "one thousand million watts": gigawatt. Though obscure, the "j" sound at the beginning of the SI prefix giga- is still an acceptable pronunciation for "gigawatt".[2][3] In the DVD commentary for Back to the Future, Robert Zemeckis stated that he had thought it was pronounced this way because this was how the scientific adviser that he had for the film pronounced it.
So that's the same as the 'soft g sound of giant' your quote mentions.
