Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition revealed

PC News | Kenny Rogers would be proud.
It might be no G.E.C.K, but it could be the next best thing. Fallout fans can look forward to spending their hard earned bottle caps on the spiffy Fallout: New Vegas Collectors Edition, revealed today. This wasteland package will contain:

  • Several 'Lucky Seven' poker chips, featuring designs based on the various casinos located within New Vegas and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
  • A full deck of cards styled with unique artwork based on characters and factions from the game, and an included rule set for Caravan, a special Fallout card game designed for the New Vegas world.
  • The special 'Lucky 38' chip.
  • 'All Roads', a hardcover graphic novel depicting events leading up New Vegas, written by the game's creative director Chris Avellone and crafted by Dark Horse Comics.
  • A special 'Making of Fallout: New Vegas' DVD that will cover various stages of conceptualisation and development through interviews and artwork.

The Collector’s Edition will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 versions of the game. Stay tuned for more information regarding participating retailers.

It's certainly a lot better than a tin box and a broken bobble head.

I think I prefer the fallout 3 CE with bobblehead and tin. Not like you can display the chips or the card deck.

I'll still be forking out for this CE though. Simply because its fallout related.

The bobblehead sits nicely in my office along with other stuff....

Have to preorderthis baby - howpefully it is not EB exclusive so could price match ...

^Agreed. Hate EB exclusives.

I'll get this, love the Fallout games.

I think I'll pass on this one. Playing cards aren't really safe around me, because I tend to destroy them by throwing them at things (those weeks of practice after seeing Ricky Jay do it were absolutely not wasted).

A soundtrack on CD or another lunchbox would get me all hot and bothered but, as sexy as the hardcover book looks, I think I can resist this time.

Do want. However will not be paying the EB inflated prices and be importing from the UK.
