Command & Conquer goes free

PC News | Command your PC to download at once.
Promoting the incoming launch of Command & Conquer 4, Electronic Arts has released Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun and its expansion pack, Firestorm, on PC as a freeware download.

Weighing in at 1.24GB, some might have to ponder over their download limits before jumping in and grabbing a copy.

While you're over there, don't forget that the original Command & Conquer title, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and the beginning of the alternative universe RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert are also available for zilch. These two titles come in at 1.2GB and 1.1GB respectively.

Those interested can head over to the Command & Conquer classics page and download some of the most influential RTS titles today.

Yeah, I downloaded Red Alert a long time ago when it was announced as freeware but I could never get it working on my PC.

Red Alert crazy, my favorite C&C game..... however i've already acquired it through the C&C: First Decade release. And also purchased the classic playstation version (my preferred version too) via the PSN icon_biggrin.gif.

Might download it again for free, if i can spare the bandwidth towards the start of march.
