New creatures in Dragon Age Origins expansion

PC News | And they are... children!?
The Dragon Age: Origins expansion pack titled Awakening is certainly worth getting excited about, given that it will be adding 30 hours worth of additional gameplay among other new things.

The new trailer below shows off a brand new race of creatures called ‘The Children’. Now, do not be alarmed, these are not actual human children! Instead, these are grotesque insect like creatures that need to be killed.

However, someone does need to spell this out to the OFLC, otherwise there will be an inevitable misunderstanding.

Can't wait for this. I'm really happy they are making decent sized DLC for this. 30 hours of gameplay is fantastic.

Another GOTY to look forward to ...

Maybe I should stop buying RPGs on day one - wait a year or so and get a GOTY at approx 70% of the original RRP

The thumbnail of Morrigan looks nothing like the 3D model of Morrigan IMO

Sure doesn't. Coverart Morrigan is vastly different to actual Morrigan. Just like preview footage Lelliana and actual Lelliana.
There are mods to rectify this if you so desire.

Since it took less than 30 hours for me to play through the game the first time (not including the end credits, 30 hours on their own), it's pretty impressive.

Really? Did you skip all dialogue in the game or something? The game was meant to go for 50/60 hours I think.

If you only got 30 out of it, I doubt you will get 30 out of this too. Probably closer to like 15.

LOL...you'll need to finish the actual game first. Last time I checked you had achievements up to the first big battle in the game icon_smile.gif

I'm really looking forward to this. I completed the first game with over 50 hours played and wanted more afterwards so I'm definitely getting this. icon_smile.gif
