Free Tales of Monkey Island this Saturday

PC News | It be a Talk Like a Pirate Day promotion for yee land-lovers!

It's Talk Like a Pirate Day today, and to celebrate Telltale Games has started a promotion for the episodic series Tales of Monkey Island.

On Saturday, 19 September (today) fans can download the PC version of Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal for free by visiting Telltale's PlayLikeAPirate webpage. All you have to do is register your email address and you will be prompted to a download link. To compliment the promotion, LucasArts will also be reducing the price of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition by 50% on Apple's App Store and Steam.

The free download should be available to Australians later this afternoon when the US servers tick over to Saturday morning. While you wait, you can check out our review of Launch of the Screaming Narwhal by clicking here.
