The Weekend Steam - 04/07/09

PC News | A day early just in case you want to have a three-day weekend.

What’s this? The Weekend Steam on a Friday? Well, Steam has started its weekend deal a little earlier than expected, so we thought some of you might want to take a half-day off work (or full day for those reading this while eating breakfast) and enjoy some quality gaming. This weekend, Steam has reduced Fallout 3 to USD $34.99 (approx. AUD $43.97 / GBP £13.49), a saving of 50%. To celebrate the release of Chains, Steam has also reduced all games published by Meridian4 by 50% until 6 July.

Fallout 3 is set in the year 2277, and sees players assume the role of an inhabitant of Vault 101. The Vault is a shelter that is designed to protect a small group of humans from nuclear fallout. When the player’s father disappears however, you must leave the safety of the Vault and venture out into the dangerous ruins of Washington D.C. to find him. Chains is an additive little puzzle game which sees players link bubbles of the same colour into chains. There are apparently 20 levels to play through, three different gameplay modes and a colour-blind option. You can be taken to the download page by clicking here.

ARGH!!!! They've done it again, the bastards at 2K are also having a sale on a large pack of their game BUT THEY WONT MAKE THEM AVAILABLE HERE!!! God damn I hate these jerkwad publishers, FFS don't complain about sales if you are going to inflate prices and restrict sales!

Yeah... I got the civ IV complete pack a few weeks ago when it was available in australia for like a day > <.... imo screw 2k though.... and gahdamnit. Half price fallout 3

Friday in the US. Generally, the deal doesn't start until early Saturday morning. And I'm taking after midnight early.
