Retail versions of Sam & Max Season Two on the way

PC News | Both for PC and Wii.
The Sam & Max games have been relatively popular over the years. While more famously known as a downloadable episodic series, Season One eventually made its way to retailers last year on the standard DVD format for those who didn't want to use up their bandwidth. Earlier this year, it was revealed Season One would also be released on the Wii, but sadly Australians are going to have to wait a bit longer before Sam & Max: Season One for Wii is released on our shores.

Today, in a joint announcement, Atari and Telltale confirmed that Sam and Max: Season Two will be given a worldwide retail release sometime in 2009. It was also confirmed that Season Two will be heading to the Wii as well, so it sems that Nintendo fans can look forward to more adventures with the straight-laced canine and psychotic lagomorph.

At this stage a specific release date and price are still pending, but we'll be sure to report back once new information becomes available.

Or you could just buy the whole season (rather than just the episodes) on the TellTale Games website, and they send you it on DVD, along with other extras as a bonus.

Although it is a bit of a bummer with the way the exchange rate is at the moment...
