New DLC available for Mass Effect PC

PC News | The sky is falling.
BioWare have released Bring Down the Sky, the first chunk of freely downloadable content for Mass Effect on the PC.

To get the new adventure you'll have to pop over here and register your original Mass Effect PC CD key, which will then give you access to a key for Bring Down the Sky. The actual content can be downloaded from the very same page, and clocks in at 309MB. You might also want to grab the new 1.01 patch while you're there.

Bring Down the Sky involves Commander Shepard and the Normandy crew getting involved in some sort of kerfuffle with a Batarian extremist group who've taken over a mobile asteroid station and are, at this very moment, driving it towards a nearby colony world. Lawks! Best get going, then...

Interesting, as this costs 400 points on the 360 version.

i would have said "yeah, but this is PC" but then Bioware also charged money for Neverwinter Nights modules and "DLC", so it's kind of a surprise.

So they haven't changed the 360 DLC to being free? Dammit.
