MMO APB to receive public beta

PC News | New character art also revealed.
Realtime Worlds has today announced plans to host a Realtime Worlds "full public beta of APB," the upcoming GTA-esque MMO which is the brain child of Grand Theft Auto creator David Jones.

Due out for both PC and Xbox 360, the game is said to be currently "transitioning into Alpha and moving towards the full public beta of APB."

Currently there is no time frame for the beta or any details on which platform will get the privilege, though the game is expected to be released sometime in 2009.

Is this a 360 only game? Cause when I got my 360 I thought this looked awesome, but I have since sold it but I still think it looks awesome.

No it isn't a 360 exclusive, it's also due out on the PC.

What about the mac? If not, then I won't be able to play it till I get my $3000 iMac and run it under Windows.

The chick maybe, the dudes just pretty standard punk though.

One thing I've been wondering though, if this is on 360 will we have to pay monthly fees to play since the servers would allready be coverd by out x-box live gold fees?

It just seems a little lame if we'd have to pay for x-box live gold fees, then monthly fees ontop of that for APB.

Girl looks lame, guy looks badass. Although I'm pretty sure the girl would win in a fight. Skateboards don't usually match up to sub machine guns.
