Wrath of the Lich King on track for release

PC News | The orcs do a happy /dance.
Orcs and elves alike will soon be jumping for joy with Vivendi revealing that the second expansion pack for Blizzard's scarily popular PC MMO World of Warcraft is not far away.

While Blizzard has been keeping their lips sealed on release details, studio owner Vivendi spilled the beans in financial documents that were released today which stated that the title was due on shelves in the second half of the year.

Vivendi further revealed that the World of Warcraft subscriber base has continued to swell with now 10.7 million users (as of March 31, 2008) tuning into its addictive delights, meaning that the population of WoW has grown by seven hundred thousand users since it hit the ten million mark in January.

Oh great.

Sigh. Every time you buy a WoW expansion, a baby dies.
Between that and Froz's fragging, the future of the earth is in grim hands.

All I can say then is...

I stopped playing about 6 months ago because unless you've got no job, school, or family, you don't have very much to do in WoW.

I'm just hoping that the game is better than WoW is at the moment.
