More World in Conflict in the near future

PC News | Console release to contain expansion pack.
With the console release of World in Conflict edging closer to reality, developer Massive Entertainment has released a new trailer to introduce the strategy title to console players.

Massive Entertainment has also confirmed that the console versions of the game are set to include the expansion World in Conflict: Soviet Assault in the same package as the original title.

PC players will be able to purchase World in Conflict: Soviet Assault as a separate add-on to the original World in Conflict game.

World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is set for release across the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year.

Looking forward to it.

More importantly, looking forward to playing as the Russians in single player. Word on the official World in Conflict forums suggests that there are no multi player additions though. icon_sad.gif

Hopefully the translation to console is easy to control and accessible, as RTS hasn't really had very many glory days of console.. (I fondly remember Return Fire on the 3D0.. but thats going back a very long time)
