Sins of a Solar Empire demo released

PC News | Free Sin for everyone.
A PC demo for Sins of a Solar Empire has been released. We gave the game a glowing review a while ago, so this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try. The demo is a slightly chunky 550MB and gives you four tutorials, two small maps with up to two AI players and one randomly generated medium map with up to 3 AI players. The accompanying blurb mentions that the demo is limited to 90 minutes of play, but we're reliably informed that this doesn't mean the whole demo will expire after 90 minutes but that you can, in fact, play as many 90 minute games as you like.

The demo is currently only available here, but will no doubt start popping up all over the place soon enough.

Nice.

I have a friend who was just diagnosed with glandular fever, I'll tell him to give this a try since he's bored out of his brain at home.

It's a great game, the only thing I take issue with is the turn rate of some of the ships, and the fact that it is pretty impossible to defend more than one planet at once.
