BioWare talks up Dragon Age

PC News | Yes, it is still coming.
In an interview with Eurogamer, BioWare has stated that their role-playing game Dragon Age is not destined to be another tale of vaporware and they believe that it will turn out to be what RPG players have been "wanting forever."

Dragon Age, the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate was first unveiled in 2004 before quickly becoming shrouded in a web of secrecy.

BioWare's Senior PR manager, Matt Atwood told Eurogamer that the team's promise that the game would be out before April 2009 is still true, and that more information on the title would be released soon.

"When you make a statement like 'this is the RPG that people have been waiting for', then you better back it up and you better spend a hell of a lot of time on it," Atwood told Eurogamer.

The game has been earmarked for a PC release, but Atwood didn't rule out the possibility of the title going over to other platforms by revealing "It is for the PC, but as far as exclusivity we haven't said anything on that."
