Emergency Mayhem announced for the Wii

Wii News | Crazy Taxi with ambulances?
Codemasters has announced via a press release that they are bringing Emergency Mayhem to the Wii exclusively.

The game is set for release in Q2, 2008 and will put the player at the helm of the three emergency services in a frantic race against time to save Crisis City, a "mad" metropolis. You will need to race against time to save the citizens of the metropolis, and finding shortcuts will be key to your success. When you actually do reach the scene of the emergency the play switches to one of thirty mini-games, which use the Wii remote.

Interestingly enough, a similar title was in development at Acclaim before their demise in 2005 and that game featured over 70 mini-games. We're not too sure if this is the same title re-badged for the Wii, but it does seem rather similar. First images of the game can be found in our media panel.

Another N64 game being ported over?

I'm all for gameplay over graphics, but that philosophy can only go so far. That simply looks terrible.

Sweet graphics, it really does look like they've emulated the N64 perfectly.
