New Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games screens

Wii News | Featuring Waluigi and Dr. Robotnik
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is set to be one of the biggest video game crossovers of all time when it comes out in 3 weeks. Sega is certainly hyped up for the release of the title, having sent out another batch of fresh screenshots, this time featuring the villainous Dr. Robotnik (or Eggman) and the rather annoying and extremely lanky Waluigi. The screens can be found in the Media Panel.

Combining 16 of the best athletes from the Mario and Sonic universes (and your Miis, of course), Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games will see the bitter rivals go head to head in 18 events at the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Up to four players can play competitively locally or online, or you can go it alone in the game's mission mode. The game is jam packed with extras including Olympic trivia and memorabilia.

Look for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games in stores on November 22nd for Wii, and early 2008 for the Nintendo DS.

the pseudo-billboarding used for the audience looks kinda funny in pic 2!
