Smash Bros. Brawl co-op announced

Wii News | Find a friend!
Masahiro Sakurai has announced on the official Smash Bros. website that the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl will feature an all-new two player co-operative mode. This is a first for the series, which has previously focused on competitive play.

The mode appears to be limited to two local players, with no hints at the possibility of online play. The 'Team' mode, as it is titled, will see players work their way through the previously announced Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary, which so far appears to be a throwback to classic Nintendo sidescrolling action games of the past.

I doubt there will be online co op, you never know, but it doesn't look like it. Either way the Adventure Mode sounds great icon_biggrin.gif

Actually the update says you can play with "siblings or close friends", which I think is a hint at online.

Could be nothing, though. But I wouldn't be surprised.
