eGames 07: EA makes strong commitment to eGames

Wii News | Crysis averted.
The eGames organisers have confirmed that Electronic Arts will be a major exhibitor at this year's eGames and Entertainment Expo which is running from the 16th to the 18th of November at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Crysis is currently expected to be on display and given it's also being released on November the 16th, you should be able to play the game, then stroll over to one of the retailers at the Exhibition Centre and buy yourself a copy.

EA will also be showing off several of their Christmas titles, which we'd guess would include the likes of Need for Speed: ProStreet, The Simpsons Game and FIFA 08. We'll report back once more information becomes available.

And you can be sure that there will be at least a few people doing just that, judging from the reactions of some people to Crysis. I think it looks good, but overall it ends up seeming like a tech demo at the end of the day.

Anyway, nice to hear that eGames is getting so much support which will help ensure it keeps running in future.

Electroplankton is a tech demo. Crysis actually has a story, a unique weapon and armour modification system, and multiplayer modes that stand up to Battlefield 2/2142.
