TGS 07: New Umbrella Chronicles screenshots

Wii News | Showing off the new scenario.
The Tokyo Game Show is in full swing, and Capcom has sent through a fresh batch of screenshots from its upcoming light-gun title Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. This new bunch of screenshots showcase the new scenario to be included in the game, which looks to show Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield attacking an Umbrella research facility.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will have fans revisiting their adventures from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new areas created just for the Wii to elaborate on the back story of the Umbrella Corporation. The game has 2 player co-op modes and full support for the upcoming Wii Zapper. Umbrella Chronicles will be available in Australia on December 13.

Only thing I think needs a lot of work is the texturework on the enemies, it looks so bland. Zombies need rotting flesh, not grey flesh. Get some worms crawling out of their faces or something. Exposed brains, ANYTHING!

It is looking decent. It will be worth a look when it launches. I have only played 2 games on my Wii.. Zelda and Red Steel, red steel was crap, zelda i havent played for a few months despite it being a awesome game. Wii is so boring but with the next few months i think it will get alot better! Metroid, SuperpaperMario and this..

bring it on.

IGN has a hands on they posted about a week ago that says it's basically a Resident Evil fanservice game....which imo is the perfect game. So yea still really looking foward to it (not amount of bad news will distract me from Resident Evil) but good to hear that it might actually end up being quite awesome.

Also the only part of the game that will be new will be the last chapter the rest of the chapters will be redone areas from the other games but obviously with a couple of asthetic differences and most of it will be on rails.

You can pick up bios for almost every object that's ever appeared in any Resident Evil game so stuff like the crank handle from the orignal game all have bios etc! I honestly can't wait....one of the things I love most about Resident Evil is the attention to the details and the polish the games always carry from title screens to inventory screens to pause screens....I can imagine these character/object bios to be of the highest quality.

I know this game won't be the best, but I'm definately picking it up.

The new trailer got me real excited.

This looks really great imo, and that trailer has me drooling joejoe. It's really good to see so many characters featured as well, though I'm saddened to see no inclusion of Leon and Claire. Hopefully they will be in it, if it is to chronicle the whole of the Umbrella timeline.

And yes, NEMESIS!

The hands on I saw a few months ago with the Zapper looked very boring. I was looking forward to this but I think I'll save my money.
