Good Game returning September 25th

Wii News | Repeats to be shown on ABC as well.
The boys from ABC2 television show Good Game have been in touch to inform us that season 3 of the enjoyable videogame show will air on ABC2 on Tuesday, September the 25th. Good Game was previously only viewable by those who owned a digital set-top box but a repeat of the show will also be shown late Friday nights on ABC after the Chaser and JTV and before Rage. The show is also repeated on ABC2 on Thursday evenings at 10:30pm.

The boys have also given us a bit of a glimpse into what we can expect from season 3. Firstly, there will be a ton of E3 coverage. Whilst at E3, the hosts got an opportunity to speak to some of the biggest names in the industry and interviews will be shown on the show. Season 3 will also feature news, reviews and gaming culture features as well as a few new segments, which include a history of gaming genres and a play of the week section. With the play of the week section, the hosts are inviting viewers to send in their best bits of game footage, but only the best plays will get a chance to be on camera. If you think you've pulled off a play of the week, the hosts can be emailed via the 'contact us' button on the Good Game website. The first episode will also feature full reviews for Halo 3 and Heavenly Sword, so you'll want to tune in.

Yay, more of the best gaming show goodness around. I hope they don't add in Machinma cause Meat Space sucked....really all of it sucked, then they need to add in more time with the Doctor.

I happen to know that the cartoon bit is being replaced with something that should be actually funny this time! Not sure about the machinima though.

Very glad this is coming back, it manages to be informative, funny, australian and not condescending all in one go!

Is that show still on Foxtel? I thought they took it off in favour of X-Play. X-Play used to be good, but since the network's takeover, it's more 'meh now.

As for Gamertv, it was okay but at the same time when they reviewed games I simply wasn't interested in, it was a bore. At least X-Play had the humour.

In general, I mainly don't watch Gamertv or X-Play because by the time the episdoes air on Foxtel, they're old and don't retain my interest because of that fact.
