Medal of Honor Heroes 2 announced

Wii News | Wii version to support up to 32 players online.
EA has announced via a press release that they're bringing Medal of Honor Heroes 2 to the Nintendo Wii and the PSP. The title is being developed by EA Canada who developed last year's Medal of Honor Heroes for the PSP.

In the sequel players will travel to 1944 and assume the role of OSS Operative John Berg. John Berg has to infiltrate Normandy and undermine the Nazi regime. Multiplayer support for the game has us quite excited, with up to 32 players able to shoot it out online. EA are also claiming that gamers will be able to enter and exit multiplayer matches on the fly.

The Wii version of Heroes 2 will include a few exclusives. The game will support the Wii Zapper and there will also be an on rails mode which is designed to make the game more accessible to those who just like to shoot without thinking.

Imagine if this was Nintendo - 32 friend codes geez. Thank god EA are doing something right and not using friend codes.

Yay. It was in the original one for PSP. Multiplayer sucked icon_sad.gif ... however with Wii gamers so desperate for some real online games, I think its many flaws will go unnoticed. Its sad that the PSP has better online play than the Wii icon_sad.gif

This sums up my feelings on WWII games in general perfectly.
