Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Wii screens

Wii News | Has Harry got the magic on the Wii?
EA has released a bunch of screens for the Wii version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, due out later this month. This one's an action adventure game set at Hogwarts, with a large open world to explore.

While it looks pretty decent for a movie tie in, what will really sell the game to the masses is that it has wand control with the Wii Remote. While adventuring, you can use gestures to make Harry enact six spells to interact with the environment: lift, push, pull, break, repair, and ignite (we like the sound of that last one...), and you'll use them to uncover secrets and plot points. There's also another set of actions for combat. Dumbledore and

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due out on the 28th of June in Australia and the 29th of June in the UK.

Funny, I have been playing Harry Potter on the DS lately, it's ery repetitive, but I didn't expect s perfect game from it.

All of the Harry Potter games have been pretty solid, in my opinion. It's the easiest kind of fun, because occasionally you do have to think but it's never really challenging. Sure, you won't get the kind of satisfaction you get from games like Civ IV, but that takes a lot of effort, and sometimes it's fun to just roam around Hogwarts and cast spells on things.

I bought a Harry Potter game on the Gamecube & found it quite alright - I'm abit of a Potter fan. So, I would consider buying this one as it is a casual adventure game which isn't bad to play once in a while.

Graphics on this one look quite good for a 3rd party once you compare them to some others that have been published. Looking forward to it really & the film too.
