Second helping of Raving Rabbids on the way

Wii News | Psychotic bunnies to return on Ninty platforms.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Wii launch title Rayman Raving Rabbids is to get a sequel. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 will tread the same slightly unhinged path as its predecessor, with hair-brained minigames, plunger projectiles, and nutty rabbits the order of the day. We quite enjoyed the first game, which Joseph awarded with a highly respectable eight.

Details of the follow-up are currently thin on the ground, though Ubisoft has revealed that the title will appear on both the Wii and DS, and that it'll sport fancier graphics, and a more substantial backstory to the Rabbids this time, specifically about how they're planning world domination from a secret lair based beneath a shopping mall. So, business as usual then.

I want to see more dance trials. They were the best.

Seriously though, I will be watching this title carefully. I don't want some cheap sequel. I want a worthy sequel, new mini-games that use the Wii control in more ways, and more tired arms!

On a side note, Raving Rabbids still remains to be the most played Wii game in all of my collection and I am assuming the only title to hit the console this year that will take that trophy away from it will be Smash Bros.

Hoo-humm rabbit tonight is it ? More of those funny bite sized rabbid rabbit party pies?

Hope this one has more meat on it as the last one they served up was a skinny little thing. Too many bones and not nearly as much flavour as the cover promissed. But it is one of the better Wii titles I guess. Hoo humm Rabbids again - yes, yes I suppose it will have to do...
