Telltale Games working on Wii Title

Wii News | Well hiring for work on one at least.
It looks as though the crew that managed to pull a Lazarus on the point-and-click adventure game is going to be bringing their powers of resurrection to the Wii. Recently appearing on the job section of Telltale Games' website is a posting searching for a developer for Nintendo’s gesture based gaming system.

The job advertisement on Telltales website reads, “We have an immediate opening for a Wii Systems Programmer. This position will be responsible for implementing our core 3D graphics and audio systems on the Wii. This is a full time position at our San Rafael location.”

Fan’s of the recent Sam and Max series should hold off on loosing bladder control for the moment however. Jake a Tellatale forum administrator has stated, "We haven't made any announcements about why we're hiring a Wii developer, and we really really haven't said that we're working on a Sam & Max game for the Wii." Looks like until Telltale make a formal announcement we’ll have to rely on all that ‘rumour and speculation’ that us gamers love to lap up.

This news makes me cautiously optimistic about the possibility of some sweet, sweet point and click adventure action on the Wii. Caaaarn Tell Tale! icon_smile.gif

A breath of jounalistic genius Tristan. This is great news for everyone, whether they sit or stand to Wii (maybe it's about time I let that dead horse be). icon_unsure.gif
