Sega Wii Virtual Console images revealed

Wii News | Columns, Ecco and more.
Sega has sent through some of the first images of their Virtual Console titles, which will all be available for 800 points from the day of the Wii's launch.

The full Sega lineup includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Columns, Ecco the Dolphin, Gunstar Heroes, Space Harrier II, Toe Jam and Earl, Ristar and Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. More titles will be available upon the launch of the Wii, but Sega's lineup is pretty stellar. The lineup should continue to expand in the future, with Nintendo planning to add at least ten new Virtual Console titles every month.

Not at this point, master system would be good though. But apart from snatcher, what would you possibly want from the Mega CD?

I wonder if the Wii could push a Saturn game? Baku Baku (at the very least) is the most hilariously evil block aligning puzzle game I have played! It dumps monkey do do on columns and mean beans!

I will be spending hours with Altered Beast and, hopefully, its sequels.
