THQ adding more titles to Wii launch

Wii News | Lousy games for the little ones, or sure-fire smash hits?
The Nintendo Wii already has a rather impressive list of launch titles, including the much-anticipated Red Steel and Twilight Princess. Content with adding even more fun to the holidays, THQ have announced four more titles for the fledgling console come launch day. Disney/Pixar's Cars, Barnyard, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Spongebob Squarepants: The Creature from the Krusty Krab are all good to go.

Hardcore Nintendo nuts and Wii fans may scoff at the inclusion of movie-based titles and children's games, but they will only help the Wii to no end. The fact is, these games sell like hotcakes - even Cars is still sitting pretty in Top Ten sales lists across many consoles. The more titles available for launch, the more options consumers will have and subsequently more consoles will be sold.

The Wii is shaping up to have potentially the best launch for any console, and PALGN will be right here to cover it.

I think it's great the Wii is having all these games out for its launch. It just proves that their is support for the console from developers.
