Leipzig GC: Zelda dazzles in new screenshots

Wii News | Ten Twilight Princess screens from Germany.
Whatever your allegiance to Nintendo is, it's difficult to deny one thing - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is looking like the absolute bee's knees. Ten shots of the Wii/GameCube project have just surfaced from the Leipzig Game Conference, providing further ammunition to the argument that this is surely set to be the best-looking Cube title yet.

If you ask us, it even stands up to certain next-gen efforts, with the latest images showing off some gorgeous environments - check out the lava level, as well as this Ocarina of Time-esque shot of Link on horseback.

ill agree, that they look awesome, they were released by Nintendo at Liepzig.....but not that they are new, and god dam it pisses me off.

But what can you do but wait, and wait and then a little more waiting. does look good tho(the game that is) and I do hope that nintendo will release some !!NEW!! screens soon.

They are old lol. But the game looks good even though they are from E3. lol. and i think it will be a huge sucess.

Leipzig's not meant to be a showcase for new stuff, especially not so close to TGS. It's just some sort of obligatory playtest convention to keep Europeans from rioting.

The textures look kinda muddy.

I would've preferred better graphics as opposed to this new control scheme. A more epic/immersive world would've been better for the series as I thought the controls for Zelda games were some of the best in the biz. To me the controls seem like they cater for a more casual play style so it could end up being a much slower game than I would initially expect. Anyways I guess i'll just have to wait and see.....but it sucks because most of Nintendo's franchises (imo) don't need to have their controls changed (except metroid prime).

Those screenshots are awesome, espically the Lava one! You guys are hard markers! They had already stated that they wanted this game to be the best looking on the Gamecube. By the looks of it, it will...

^ So you're not interested in Super Paper Mario? Who knows that might be swapped over to the Wii. I hope so cuz I don't wanna buy a previous consoles games once I get the latest one.
