Wii set to launch with 27 games
Wii News | Launch list continues to expand.

It's been just under three months since Nintendo last regaled us with a list of the games that would launch alongside its next-gen Wii console later this year. Since then, there's been a few additions, with announcements from the likes of Ubisoft seeing the Wii launch line-up swell from 16 to 27 titles. Thus, with decent news currently as common as rocking-horse dung, now seems like a fitting time to carry out a quick recap of the titles that'll be available to us as we're picking up our new consoles in two or three months.

Nice. It's especially encouraging to see a strong third-party presence (23 of the 27 games are coming from companies other than Nintendo), something that makes a pleasant change from many other Nintendo launches of the past. Incidentally, the usually pretty reliable [Cough - Ed] Wikipedia has a list of games in development for Nintendo's machine - all 151 of the blighters.
