E3 2006: Hudson Soft tease us with their Virtual Console support

Wii News | We get a number, but no names.
Hudson Soft have just announced that they shall be providing Nintendo’s Wii Virtual Console with around 100 games. For those not in the know, Hudson Soft are responsible for the Bomberman and Bonk titles that have emerged over the years.

Also, Hudson’s lawyers are reportedly looking into the ways in which they can acquire the rights to other third party titles in order to bring them across to the Virtual Console - in particular, they mentioned, games from developers who no longer exist.

No word on if Hudson’s titles will be available to download from launch yet. As usual, when we know more, we’ll bring it to you.
