E3 2006: Hunting season returns

Wii News | The Ducks are back.
Over the course of time, some famous Nintendo games have been left behind in earlier eras, some crying out for a modern day makeover. According to IGN, it is apparent that Nintendo are planning to show off a sequel to the classic series of shooters known as Duck Hunt and it's coming to the Wii.

The only and perhaps the most important information is that the game will indeed be playable. It would not be unfair for us to assume the the Wii-mote will be replacing the previous light-gun and we're excited to see to see if Nintendo have taken it upon themselves to bring anything new to the table.

Hopefully, our men on the floor will bring us some impressions in the coming days. Please stay tuned to PALGN for more coverage from E3 2006.

I used to play the original on my NES all the time - a sequel with new stuff to do is a very cool prospect.

There's actually a light gun Wii-mote shell for this so it seems... very cool...
