E3 2006: The Fire burns bright on Wii

Wii News | New Fire Emblem title coming.

It was only a very brief glimpse, but within one of the gameplay montages shown at the Nintendo press conference, there was a confirmation that Fire Emblem will be making its way to the Wii. It's suspected that the young man fighting at close quarters and woman shown in this brief anime cut-scene will be the protagonists for this new adventure.

No other details are known at this point but the Fire Emblem series has always been a frontrunner in rich storytelling and deep strategic gameplay. We'll bring you more, as it becomes available to us.

No news from E3 on a DS title??

Never played a Fire Emblem game but they look great.
