E3 2006: 81 Wii Games Announced

Wii News | Some don't have names yet, but that's a lot of games!
Nintendo has released a list of all games officially in development for the Wii, and there's a fair old few to say the least. Many don't have a final name yet, and some publishers are waiting until the E3 show proper to announce their Wii projects, but they make it onto Nintendo's list as 'title TBA'. A few surprises make it in anyway, and there are a few mystery titles - such as Disaster: Day of Crisis from Nintendo themselves. I assume thats a typo and they're the same game, aren't they?

81 titles? Wow, thats alot.

That's such a surprise, considering how Nintendo normally go for quality over quantity when it comes to video games.

Where's the mentioned Smash Bros title? (unless i skimmed over it wrong, it aint here)

But regardless, this is all very promising, good to see

Good point there, I want to see it. It hasn't appeared at E3 that I've seen. icon_sad.gif

^ Hopefully in the days to come.
Can you help us out here James & Lahiru, plz?
To see some footage would be great, we can only hope that it is there somewhere on the showfloor.

No mention of Camelot's - Golden Sun which was supposed to be coming out on Gamecube from memory ... let's hope that they make this game for Wii.

^ Well they have to be doing something so yeah, let's hope it is Golden Sun.

I actually hope not. Golden sun 2 finished the franchise well for me, being left alone is OK! Don't revive what is better left resting in peace!

I can see your point and in some ways I agree with it, but really, Camelot have said quite a few times now that they were making a Gamecube version of the game. Obviously that has been a no show so the fans are now left with nothing to anticipate despite Camelot saying otherwise. Hence why we all want a Wii version. Or even a DS version for that matter. Just one more Golden Sun experience because Camelot alluded to one. After that let the series die. icon_smile.gif

^ Even if Camelot decide against making a golden sun game, then perhaps a different role playing game would be a fantastic idea, as that is the one genre that has been neglected in Nintendo's catalog of games since the glory days of the SNES.

^ Yeah, I'd totally go for another RPG from Camelot, they have been pumping out too many mario sidestories lately icon_sad.gif
