US mag prints more Zelda: Twilight Princess images

Wii News | Aonuma shows off archery skills.
US games rag EGM has been granted a closer look at Nintendo's forthcoming GameCube/Wii-compatible adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Best of all, in a spread packed with new images of the game in action and pieces of artwork, Twilight Princess director Eiji Aonuma has been photographed using the Wii controller as a virtual bow and arrow - excellent stuff.

Anyhow, for a look at the scans of the article that are doing the rounds on the internet, head over to Jeux-France.

Looks fantastic. I don't know why so many people were hoping the game was going to stay as a Gamecube title when they would've released a game on a dying console and would've hurt the sales greatly. If it acts as a launch title then it'll certainly be something to boost sales.

Bit of a revamp in graphics too.

Are you serious? This has become a Wii launch game? Cuz last I heard it was coming out with the Wii but was still going to be a Gamecube game.

Anyways....I just want the thing to come out..

Personally i don't see much of a revamp in graphics, but i'm sure there will be some slight revamps in there.

I can't wait for this game to be released (please tell us a release date already) but am a bit curious (but overly excited) about the Wiimote functionality.

Judging from those pictures i can picture myself firing an arrow; by holding down that trigger on the joystick expansion, pulling back my arm & letting go of the trigger to see my arrow go flying will be soo much fun.

The fishing rod idea sounds great, various other equipment uses (hookshot anyone?) as do the sword actions... think about it, Nintendo could even use the Wii console to advertise exercise while playing a video game & in turn possibly decrease the amount of obese ppl in the world (America mostly); Nintendo is sitting on a goldmine & i can't wait till tomorrow (hopefully) when all is revealed!

I'm also very interested in how the game will work on the Gamecube & Wii, personally i would play the game both with the Wiimote & on the Gamecube giving me 2 different gameplay options, its one way to get more out of the game, & i'm lookin forward to it.

& any chance of revamped OOT released with this game? (like Master Quest OOT & original OOT for GCN that were limited release with Wind Waker; it would be perfect, minus the limited release part)

^ Man that sounds overly complicated....I hope I can just press X or something to fire that same arrow. I wanna know how you'd like to do that arrow firing thing 30 - 40 times in a row?

So it's a launch titile now? Ok then, I can live with that I guess, maybe it should be cheaper than the others though, it was developed for an older system.. I'd like to get it at launch, but man, this is going to cost a heap with all the great launch titles popping up! icon_biggrin.gif I want them all! icon_lol.gif
