Tony Hawk will be returning an eighth time in Tony Hawk's Project 8 (tentative title). The game will feature ultra realistic graphics (anything would be an improvement on THAW for the Xbox 360) and an entirely new engine that has been built from the ground up for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If you're not planning on upgrading the game will also be coming to the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and the PSP.
The Wii hasn't been left out either though and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam will be coming to the Wii, the Nintendo DS and the Gameboy Advance. Taking on the role of Tony Hawk, players compete in time-based challenges in one of three gameplay modes, including race, trick and slalom. The Wii controller should be used in a way to direct where Tony goes. It's a bit of a departure for the series, but we've been calling for change for a long time now.
Spider-man 3 will also make a brief appearance at E3. Activision will unveil the in-game model of the super hero and offer a quick look at the technology behind the game. The movie is still about a year off though so don't expect too much else.
Other things that have been mentioned that are worth noting are that for the Wii and the PlayStation 3 launch Activision will have three launch titles and Call of Duty 2 will be recieving some additional maps, which proves that one of the largest selling Xbox 360 games yet is still considered extremely important to Activision.
