Pre E3 2006: The Luigi Code?

Wii News | Nintendo uses website to create hype.

Some eager fans with too much time came across this page on Nintendo America's website, which contains a code that, if cracked, promises to reveal the company's E3 secrets. It's not much of a code, and anyone who's done a course in cryptography will know what to do immediately. By taking all the upper case letters and applying generic code breaker ROT-13, we get this message (punctuation added by us):

Howdy pardners, way to crack the code. But you will have to wait to find out about Wii, won't you? NOA Rufus

Well, that was a waste of fifteen minutes

Interestingly, The Luigi Code is terribly written and contains no truth at all, much like it's inspiration.

Interesting.

If this is on NOAs website perhaps the rumours about wii being a fake name have validity..
