Atari have confirmed this today with the first official images of the game in action, as well as the first information about the title. The game will include over 100 characters, 15 fully destructible environments and 9 different game modes.
Not much else was revealed about the game except that we'll see it in PAL regions in November, 2006. Surprisingly, the press release didn't state anything about the game actually coming out on the Revolution at all. We've included the images in the media panel.
