E3 2005: Animal Crossing for Revolution

Wii News | Getting a Revolution? Love Animal Crossing?
Nintendo has confirmed that there is more Animal Crossing in the making. At E3 the staff were asked if there was going to be a Revolution version of Animal Crossing, and they answered with this:

T. Tezuka: "Yes."
K. Eguchi: "We are trying to make it compatible with the DS version as well."

There is currently no further information, but be sure to keep checking PALGN as we will bring you the details first.

Anyway, screenshots don't really say much about an AC game IMO. I have allways thought that it would be cool if the next AC was cel-shaded. Anyone else think it should be?

Animal Crossing for N64 (Japan only), GameCube, DS, and now Revolution... I'm hoping that the DS version will have a significant number of "gameplay" additions ("things to do") over the N64/Gamecube versions, and as for the Revolution version... yes, I think it should be celshaded. Or in some other way majorly different from the other versions. I can only take so much of Animal Crossing in the same graphical style and with roughly the same features icon_lol.gif

Isn't the DS version basically a port of the GameCube version with slight additions (hats, then major ones like online), and some subtractions (no NES games for a start, some animals changed)?
